Project Overview

This custom project delivers a tailored floating barrier system for clients in Cote d’Ivoire, to support the protection of a designated local water area. The client needed a reliable solution to maintain a clean water environment in the target zone, while also preventing unauthorized vessels from entering the protected area, which requires a dual-functional barrier that can work for both debris interception and maritime security warning.

Project Core Objective

The core goal of this project is to implement a stable, long-term floating barrier system to achieve dual functions: reliable trash rack interception to keep the target area clean, and effective maritime warning to block unauthorized vessel entry, fully protecting the client’s designated water zone.

During the customization process, we addressed the client’s specific requirements and technical challenges with targeted, practical solutions:

Challenge 01: Client's high requirement for metal fence quality

The client had extremely high requirements for the quality of the metal fence of the barrier, as it needs to withstand long-term coastal corrosion and external impact, and worried that the product could not meet their standard.

Our Solution: To eliminate the client's concerns, we provided a full set of fence samples to the client for approval in advance, so the client could test the quality and durability of the fence before mass production, ensuring it fully meets their super high quality standard.

Challenge 02: Solving the arc-shaped installation requirement

The client needed to install the floating barrier into an arc shape to fit the boundary of their protected area, but faced difficulties in ensuring the accuracy of the arc degree during on-site installation.

Our Solution: We provided a targeted installation solution: placing dedicated small auxiliary buoys at the arc point of the barrier, which helped the client's local team to easily locate and adjust the arc shape during installation, perfectly solving the arc installation problem.
