Project Overview

This custom project delivers a tailored marine navigation buoy solution for clients in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The client needed to install a set of navigation system buoys on both sides of the shipping channel, to prevent approaching ships from mistakenly entering the local recreational areas. This navigation buoy system can perfectly mark the boundary of the shipping channel, effectively protecting the safety of the recreational waters.

Project Core Objective

The core goal of this project is to deploy a reliable navigation buoy system to clearly mark the navigation channel boundary. The buoys can guide the passing vessels to navigate within the correct channel, preventing them from entering the protected recreational areas, effectively improving the navigation safety of the local waters. Meanwhile, we also provided flexible product matching support and logistics reminder service, to help the client complete the project smoothly.

To perfectly fit the client’s channel marking and recreational area protection requirement, we customized the navigation buoy system with the following core configurations:

Challenge 01: Confirming the product shape and color requirement

The client had specific requirements for the shape of the navigation buoy, and also needed a special color that must be used for the local channel marking standard.

Our Solution: We provided targeted product recommendation for the client: we recommended the standard products with the shape that is most similar to the client's requirement, and we also provided the exact color that the client must have, perfectly meeting the client's shape and color demand for the channel marking.

Challenge 02: Cargo transportation related concerns

The client was worried about the problems related to the international cargo transportation, especially the port pickup process, which might lead to extra cost if not handled properly.

Our Solution: We provided timely logistics reminder service for the client. We reminded the client in time to pick up the goods at the port as soon as the cargo arrived, which helped the client to avoid the extra detention charge at the port, ensuring the client can receive the goods smoothly.
