Project Overview

This custom project is an old steel buoy replacement project for clients in Thailand. The client’s original old steel navigation buoys had been used for a long time, facing serious corrosion and aging issues, which could no longer meet the local maritime safety standard. They needed to replace the old buoys with new, durable HDPE navigation buoys, to upgrade the channel marking system of the local port.

Project Core Objective

The core goal of this project is to replace the aging old steel buoys, and deploy new navigation buoys to clearly mark the channel boundaries, guide vessels to safely enter and leave the port, effectively improving the navigation safety of the local water area. Meanwhile, the new HDPE buoys can provide longer service life and lower maintenance cost for the client.

Tailored Product Configuration

To perfectly fit the client’s buoy replacement requirement, we customized the new navigation buoy with the following core configuration:

1200mm HDPE channel navigation buoy, optimized for long-term offshore corrosion resistance, with much longer service life than traditional steel buoys

The client had specific color requirement for the new navigation buoys, to match their local channel marking standard, which needed to be different from our standard color.

Our Solution: We fully adjusted the color of the navigation buoy strictly according to the client's specific requirement, ensuring the new buoys can perfectly match the client's existing channel marking system, fully meeting their customization need.
