Project Overview

This custom project delivers a tailored floating mooring platform solution for a private client in Port of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The client owned a Seadoo GTX 300 personal watercraft, which weighs 849 lbs with a deep hull design. The client needed a dedicated floating dock platform for his jet ski, to provide a stable, safe mooring space for his personal watercraft. The client also required the platform to be connected to his existing wooden floating dock, with integrated rollers to assist the docking process, and had a specific preference for blue color for the entire platform, with a customized size of 72″W x 152″L to perfectly fit his jet ski.

Project Core Objective

The core goal of this project is to deliver a customized V-shaped floating platform for the client’s Seadoo GTX 300 jet ski. The floating platform can provide a stable, reliable mooring space for the client’s personal watercraft, protecting the hull from long-term water immersion and damage. Meanwhile, the platform can be perfectly connected to the client’s existing wooden floating dock, meeting the client’s customized size, color and functional requirements, helping the client complete the jet ski mooring project smoothly.

Tailored Product Configuration

To perfectly fit the client’s personal jet ski mooring requirement, we customized the entire floating platform system with the following core configurations:

Custom V-shaped floating dock, optimized for personal watercraft (jet ski) mooring, with the customized size of 72″W x 152″L, to perfectly fit the client’s Seadoo GTX 300
Standard 505040cm HDPE floating dock pontoons, to build the main body of the floating platform, with the client’s preferred blue color
Custom mooring line and tensioning device, to secure the floating platform stably in the water
Integrated hull rollers and connection system, to connect the floating platform to the client’s existing wooden dock, and assist the jet ski docking process

Challenge 01: Installation method confusion

The client's local team had no relevant experience in installing this kind of floating dock platform, they were confused about the installation method, and worried that they could not complete the installation work smoothly.

Our Solution: We provided detailed customized design drawings for the client, which clearly showed the structure and connection details of the floating platform. We also prepared a professional installation video, which can guide the client's local team to complete the installation step by step, perfectly solving the installation confusion, and helping the client finish the installation work smoothly.

Challenge 02: Order quantity adjustment requirement

After the initial order, the client needed to increase the quantity of the products, and also needed additional installation accessories to support the on-site installation work, to ensure the platform can be perfectly connected to his existing wooden dock.

Our Solution: We provided flexible order adjustment support for the client: we arranged the re-order for the additional products, and also provided the extra installation accessories for the client, which helped the client to complete the on-site installation work smoothly, perfectly meeting the client's quantity adjustment requirement.
