This custom project delivers a tailored floating solution for event clients in Mauritius. The client needed multiple small floating platforms to serve as dedicated fireworks firing platforms, to provide a safe, stable space for tourists to set off fireworks during the local event. This floating platform solution can perfectly meet the client’s special event requirement, providing a reliable water-based working space for the fireworks display activity.

Project Core Objective

The core goal of this project is to deliver customized floating dock platforms for the client’s fireworks display event. The platforms can provide a stable, safe working space for the fireworks firing activity, ensuring the safety of the tourists during the event. Meanwhile, we also provided targeted logistics and cost optimization solutions, to help the client reduce the overall procurement and shipping cost of the project.

Challenge 01: Rising international shipping costs

During the project period, the international sea freight rates were rising and updated multiple times, which would increase the client's overall project cost.

Our Solution: We analyzed the shipping cost for the client, and recommended the client to use high-cube containers for the shipping. This can effectively reduce the unit shipping cost of the products, helping the client to save the overall shipping cost under the rising freight environment.

Challenge 02: Price discount requirement for the repeat customer

This was the client's third purchase from us, and they requested a price discount for this order, to reduce their procurement cost.

Our Solution: We provided a targeted cost optimization solution for the client: we recommended the client to increase the order quantity to fully fill the container. In this way, the extra floating pontoons can enjoy free sea freight, which effectively reduced the client's overall cost, perfectly meeting the client's discount requirement, and rewarding the repeat customer.
