Project Overview

This custom project delivers a tailored floating solution for clients in Tanzania. The client needed to build a dedicated floating bridge with pedestrian handrails, and a supporting boat mooring area, to provide a safe water-based passage for pedestrians, and a stable mooring space for local boats. This solution can perfectly meet the client’s daily travel and vessel docking requirements.

Project Core Objective

The core goal of this project is to deliver a full set of customized floating system, to build a stable floating bridge with safety handrails for pedestrians walking, and a supporting boat mooring area for vessel docking. The entire system can provide a safe, convenient and durable solution for the client, effectively improving the local water transportation and docking efficiency.

Tailored Product Configuration

To perfectly fit the client’s floating bridge and mooring requirement, we customized the entire solution with the following core configurations:

Custom floating dock pontoons, to build the main body of the floating bridge and mooring area
Marine safety handrails, installed on the floating bridge to ensure the safety of pedestrians

Challenge 01: Confusion about the connection between the lifting ring pin and anchor chain

The client was not clear about how to connect the short lifting ring pin to the anchor chain during the on-site installation, which would affect the installation progress.

Our Solution: We provided the client with detailed image guides and video explanations, to clearly show the client the correct connection method, helping the client's local team to complete the installation smoothly without any confusion.

Challenge 02: Concern about the rust issue of the metal lifting ring pin

The client worried that the galvanization of the metal lifting ring pin was not good enough, which would lead to quick rusting in the coastal water environment, affecting the service life of the product.

Our Solution: We provided the client with professional maintenance suggestion: we recommended the client to sand the pin and repaint it with anti-rust paint, which can effectively prevent the rusting issue, and extend the service life of the product, fully solving the client's concern.
